Showcase Privacy Policy
Showcase (“the App”) is developed and published by Showcase Software LLC (“Showcase Software,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
Showcase is built with privacy in mind. Wherever possible, your artwork and project data remain on your device. We believe your creative work belongs to you, and we design our software to minimize the information we collect.
This Privacy Policy explains how Showcase handles information when you use the App.
Information We Collect
Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy or required to provide a specific feature, Showcase is designed to operate without collecting personal information.
Depending on how you use the App, you may choose to provide artwork images, artwork titles, artwork dimensions, and optional artwork information such as artist, medium, year, price, and notes.
This information is used solely to generate augmented reality preview files and remains under your control.
Photo Library Access
Showcase requests access to your photo library only when you choose to import artwork.
Imported images are used exclusively to create augmented reality previews and are not uploaded to Showcase Software LLC.
You may revoke photo library access at any time through your device’s Settings.
File Access
Showcase allows you to save and export USDZ files using Apple’s native document picker and Share Sheet.
You choose where exported files are stored, who they are shared with, and whether they leave your device.
Showcase does not retain copies of exported files.
Local Data Storage
Artwork information and project data are stored locally on your device.
Unless a future feature explicitly provides cloud synchronization, Showcase Software LLC does not maintain copies of your artwork or project files.
Deleting the App may remove locally stored project information unless you have exported your work or backed up your device using Apple’s backup services.
Analytics and Diagnostics
Version 1.0 of Showcase does not include advertising networks, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or marketing SDKs.
If anonymous analytics, crash reporting, or other diagnostic services are introduced in a future release, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features become available.
Data Sharing
Showcase Software LLC does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
Your artwork and project information are shared only when you explicitly choose to export or distribute files using Apple’s built-in sharing features.
Third-Party Services
Showcase uses Apple system frameworks to provide core functionality, including services such as Photos, Files, Quick Look, and Share Sheet.
These services are governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.
Showcase Software LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that you choose to use when exporting or sharing files.
Security
Because Showcase performs its primary functions locally on your device, your artwork and project information remain under your control.
While no method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security, we reduce risk by minimizing the information we collect and avoiding unnecessary transmission of your data.
Children’s Privacy
Showcase is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child in violation of applicable law, we will promptly delete that information where reasonably possible.
International Users
If you use Showcase outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information will generally remain on your device unless you choose to share it using third-party services.
Where applicable, Showcase Software LLC will comply with relevant privacy laws governing the operation of the App.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements to the App, new features, legal requirements, or changes to our business practices.
The updated version will always include the revised Effective Date.
Your continued use of Showcase following the publication of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
